I have been wanting to participate in such races ever since i first watched the TV show back in my college days. To race around the world would be perfect.. Not to mention super exciting! I wanted to join the big durian race ever since I first found out about it last year... But missed the registration period. Luckily i didn't miss this year's, so I got to race!
So basically the task of the race was to collect pictures with an object or doing a thing, also collect things. Each tasks has their own points ranging from 5-50.
Tasks were varied from "picture of monas", "picture of you cooking your own street food", "picture in front of obama statue", and some bizzarre ones like "picture of dead rat" or "picture in front pf snake blood vendor". Hahahaha interesting right? Each picture must have at least two team members in it to be valid.
So we raced. We started at Kuningan, and finished at Kemang. We didn't win though, our final points were only 360 but we were'nt the last one, and we had a loooot of fun! Tired, of course, but it was a very fun day lots of laugh.
Funny thing though, one of the task was to picture two kampung kittens. We thought it was an easy one, i mean, kampung kittens are everywhere in jakarta! But that day... We didn't spot two of them, at all! We spotted one, and another one, and another one... But never two of them! Hahahaha crazy!
